본 논문은 1942년 초 식민지 조선의 산업자본의 자본계열별 구성에 대한 상세한 정보를 제공하고 있는 東洋經濟新報社가 발간한 『年刊朝鮮』과 1921년부터 1942년까지 대체로 격년으로 남아 있는 『조선은행회사조합요록』의 정보를 통합하여, 『年刊朝鮮』의 자료적 특성을 파악함과 동시에, 조선 본점회사 불입자본금의 자본계열별 구성의 시기별 추이를 파악하였다. 본 논문은 식민지 조선의 회사 연구에 대해 다음과 같은 연구사적 기여를 할 것으로 판단된다. 첫째, 『조선은행회사조합요록』의 정보를 회사의 자본계열 및 지배구조 연구를 심화시키는데 활용할 수 있도록, 『조선은행회사조합요록』에 등장하는 회사들의 자본계열을 정리하여 제시했다. 둘째, 일본 재벌 자본의 조선 진출, 국책성 회사의 자원 개발 기반 형성, 조선내 계열 형성 등이 조선 본점회사의 자본형성에 미친 영향뿐만 아니라 그들간의 관련에 대해서도 심층적인 분석을 할 수 있는 통계적 기초를 마련했다. 셋째, 식민지기 동안 조선 본점회사의 업종구성은 크게 변동하였는데, 그와 같은 변화를 주도한 자본계열의 구성을 파악함으로써, 식민지기 공업화 및 중화학공업화의 기반 형성 및 추진 주체에 대한 보다 엄밀한 분석을 할 수 있는 기초를 마련했다.

This paper integrates the information on the composition of Colonial Korea's industrial capital by capital affiliate in early 1942 recoded in Annual Joseon published by Toyo Keizai Inc. with the information of Joseon Eunhaeng Hoesa Johap Yorok(Biennial Reviews on colonial Korea's bank, corporation and cooperative associations). This paper analyzed the characteristics of the data recoded in Annual Joseon and the trend of the composition of the paid-in capital of the Colonial Korean headquarters company by capital affiliate, using the newly compiled data in this paper. This paper will contribute to the analysis of the capital affiliates and governance structure of the Colonial Korean headquarters company. And this paper will contribute to analyzing the impact of Japanese chaebol capital, state-run companies, and Colonial Korean-based affiliates on the development of Colonial Korean headquarters companies and Colonial Korea’s industrialization.
